My ISP Jaguarpc.net has suffered a crash, with that crash it took out my site. Al l the backups I had downloaded are screwed. as the data they hold are corrupt. and it appears have been for a while.  :'(

I am now in a position to upgrade the yabbse board.

I was on 1.0.0 - I need my site up by this weekend.... So do I use 1.1?

I am really pissed off right now  :'(  >:(

1.1 is the latest stable release - until 1.3 is released I'd use 1.1 :)

Thanks Greg,

Does the current download include any updates since 1.1 went live?

Thanks again.

I have a sql dump from January 29th on Yabb 1.0.0 - can I drop it into a 1.0.1 without any worries?

I think you can - there wasn't any database structure alterations between those versions. :) As long as you have a dump on your PC you can give it a go and see.

As far as I remember there was a database alteration between 1.0.0 and 1.1.0.

Maybe it is better to do in two separate steps:

1st restore the 1.0.0 board
2nd upgrade to 1.1.0 when 1st step is complete

Yes, I am quite sure that the member table was altered and some new tables were added.

Andrea is correct, there were several database changes from 1.0.0 to 1.1.0

I'd do a full install of 1.1.0 if you want to start fresh.  Or, install 1.0.0, restore your database, and then upgrade to 1.1.0
