Currently, I have a Beseen chat room on my site, and I'm not happy with it at all. One of my Members told me that I could install a YaBB Chat Room on my server and site, but I haven't been able to find such an animal. If one exists, could someone point me toward it please!!

there is no such thing as a yabb chat program.  You can get chat scripts from hotscripts.com or you can register a channel on many irc networks and possibly use a java client to connect or just use a irc client
