Installer step 2

Help i'm lost .....   too much information readed i think ......

I'm trying to install  SE 1.1.0 .

Coolfreepages requires the safe version.....

After installining the files it gives me the path doesn't excis faillure.i copy'd and pasted the path like it was given by the installer. I found  this thread aswell but i'm lost ......

The forum is here , anyone who can help me ? ?

This is the path at the server: home/httpd/coolfreepages.com/html/yabbse

De installer is at the root in /yabbse....

You need to install the datebase first. Did you use the right datebase username and password / servername?

I think I found your problenm:

I ran your install.php and this what it says:

Safe Mode Check:

Warning! It appears that safe mode is enabled.

This version of the YaBB SE Installer will not work with safe mode enabled. You should download the safe mode installer from yabb.info and procede with your installation using that version.

If you know for a fact that safe mode is NOT enabled, you may continue, although this is strongly discouraged.

Click here to continue.

try re-downloading and make sure you grab the Safe version file

Also I suggest running the installer in a difrrent directory then where you going install the forum's. Create a new directory maybe called community or forums and chmod it to 777.

Upload the safe mode distrubution in the yabbse directory. run the istall.php and click on next to countinue and in next box make sure the virtual path to community or forum directroy is in that box, clcik ovewrite new files, then click continue.

I think I found your problenm:

try re-downloading and make sure you grab the Safe version file

The installer in the safe version download is the one that generates this error, so where is the safe mode installer (because it is NOT in the 1.1.0 safe download)

My mistake  grab the installer from 1.0.0 safe mode and it will work for you...
