OK,
  I jsut intalled yabb se, quite painless so far. Thanks ;) BUT, I am unable to do set anything up. I can log in with my admin password with no errors, but as soon as I go to the "admin" button, it changes me back to "guest" and says I can't do anything?

Any ideas?

*edit- In fact, I can't go to any other screen without it turning me into a "guest". Same thing happens when I create a regular user account. Can't even go to my profile, IM, etc.

I had that problem, the way i managed to fix it was by going to www.ud.barrysworld.net/board/index.php

OK, I fixed that problem. It would seem that my cookies were getting confused with my YaBB SP1 board. I just added se tot he new board cookies and it works.

However, now I have a new problem. When I go to access the admin center I get the follwoing error.

2: fopen("./yabbinfo.xml", "w") - Permission denied
(/mypathnameeditedhere.org/yabbse/Sources/ Admin.php ln 1861)

Any ideas???

Funny. I was just about to post that I..
1- Changed the board and Source url to the complete path
and
2- Chmod 666 xmlinfo

And it was all better.
