Installing YaBB SE

I have tried to install YABB Se, but get the following message, and it doesn't mean anything to me, HELP!

its means exactly what is telling you....

'db40670411' is unknown. it doesnt know where to find that.

try leaving localhost as the hostname.

tried that, now i get the following message:

okay i used a different host name, and made a bit of progress, i now get the following message

Cannot use database yabbse, connection to server succeeded by the way.

I then goto the index.php file t load the forum, and its there but with lots of error<below>

are you only allowed access to one database? did your host limit you to one?

that has to be one mySQL database only, it happened on all the free hosts I tried (like f2s, Multimania etc)..

I think i have one data base set up.  It isn't being used, as I don't know how to use it!

I kinda lost hope now with YABB SE , and still using YABB 1, which seems to be running fine.

Only one slight clitch with YABB 1  is the YABB logo is not there (top left hand side of the screen), its obviously a broken link somewhere, but i read through the coding and can't find it.

ask your host for help then. if they wont help you get a new host.

i'm having the same problem with multimania when i set the mySQL database as yabbse i get
Cannot use database yabbse, connection to server succeeded by the way.

I go to the board address and see these errors

of course its not going to work i'm only on step three but for some reason mySQL database name won't work i left the mySQL database prefix empty and eve when i have yabbse_ or nothing in there it still doesn't work i'm new at using yabb so i have no idea what to do. Help?

with multimania i believe you have to use your USERNAME as the database name.

but read the errors... it tells you whats going wrong.
