Always getting an error

I installed yabbse, but now when i try to do something, like click log in, or read a post i get this:

An Error Has Occurred!

2: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource

it changes the paths:
$boarddir = "../yabbse";
$sourcedir = "../yabbse/Sources";    
$facesdir = "../yabbse/YaBBImages/avatars";

$facesurl = "http://membres.lycos.fr/username/yabbse/YaBBImages/avatars";   
$imagesdir = "http://membres.lycos.fr/username/yabbse/YaBBImages";$ubbcjspath = "http://membres.lycos.fr/username/yabbse/ubbc.js";
$faderpath = "http://membres.lycos.fr/username/yabbse/fader.js";
$helpfile = "http://membres.lycos.fr/username/yabbse/YaBBHelp/index.html";

yabbse=you to folder where this installed your forum
username=you username of multimania (megamesforum)

Doesnt work, I'll try reinstalling the forum.

close on the paths, but should be like this:

$boarddir = ".";
$sourcedir = "./Sources";    
$facesdir = "./YaBBImages/avatars";

../ - means to go back a directory to find whatever.
./  - means work from current dir.
