Package manager problem

I translated the english.lng from http://www.yabb.info/community/english.lng into Finnish and it works fine except for the Package manager which doesn't work at all when using the Finnish language files.

The problem is that the Package manager picture doesn't load and all the links are just:

[]

I have been comparing the finnish.lng to the original english.lng but I haven't been able to figure out the the problem. The code is similar and every line seems to have "; in the end.

If I change back to english.lng the Package manager works fine. I even tried to change the PM section of the .lng file back into english and leave everything else in Finnish but that didn't work either.

Anyone got ideas what could be wrong with it?

I suppose that some lines are missing in the language file which cause the [] . Did you observe that the text numbers in the language files are *not* strictly increasing? What SE board version do you run? The english.lng from the yabb.info site is not compatible with the 1.1.0 or 1.0.0 boards any longer.

I went through the whole language files and the line numbers etc did match if I saw everything correctly. And yes, I did notice that the lines are not strictly increasing.  My board version is 1.1.0.

If your board is 1.1.0 and you took the (1.3.x) english.lng from this yabb.info board here then do the following:

look into the 1.1.0 "english.lng" of your 1.1.0 board and copy the text files that were deleted into your (1.3.x) language file. 1.1.0 package manager is using a text block that is not in the 1.3.0 language files any longer.

I'm not sure if this helps because I have compared the english.lng and finnish.lng which I have and the codes and lines are similar. Only difference is that with the english.lng the Package Manager works but with the finnish.lng it doesn't.

If I understood correctly you are saying that the finnish.lng which I have is 1.3.0 version and it is missing lines which are in the english.lng file, correct? But that isn't the case because the .lng files are similar. One works, other doesn't.

Ok, now I found the problem. You were right after all, I downloaded the full 1.1.0 forum script and it had a different kind of a language file. The thing that confused me was that the language file which you can get from http://www.yabb.info/community/language.lng still says version 1.1.0.
