Seems while yes i had the correct chmod setting on sources i had the yabbse directory at 711

I'm pretty sure that is because you have used a . for your boarddir.  You may want to set it to:

Code Select
/home/sites/site2/web/yabbse

Or whatever :)

Well...is the folder chmoded at all?  Set it to 777 to see if it helps.

anyone know of program i could run that will allow me to jump right to specific line numbers for these scripts.

wondering if this error is specifically at line 902

this is line 902

$dir = dir($boarddir);

and in Settings.php
$boarddir = "/home/sites/site2/web/yabbse";


does this help for fixing my problem?
