problem with Forum Preferences and Settings

Every time I try to use the Forum Preferences and Settings option in the admin cp, I get the following error.
_____________________________________________
An Error Has Occurred!

2: Unable to create 'Settings.bak': Permission denied
(/usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/mywebsite.net/httpdocs/php/YaBBse/Sources/Admin.php ln 805)
_____________________________________________

What can be done to correct this?

Also, I installed yabbse a few weeks ago with the non safe mode installer, I backed up the Mysql db and dumped it to my HDD. Now, this week we moved to a new host, I had to use the safe mode installer this time. After install I dropped all of the Mysql tables and copy/pasted my backup and ran that. Everything eventually came up, but I did much noodling around on my host CHMODing php files to 666. Was this the right thing to do, if not, what are they and the .xml files supposed to be CHMODed to? And are the problems listed above related to this procedure?

CHMOD the *.xml and *.php files to 666, the folders to 777.

Create an empty *.txt file called settings.txt and upload it in your YaBB SE directory, where settings.php is located. CHMOD it to 666 and rename it to Settings.bak.

Okay, I figured that one out, the YaBBse directory should have been CHMOD to 777, it was set to 755. Are there any other dir's I need to set to 777?

Thanks in advance .....
