need help configuring webserver on XP

i made the board and now no1 can see it cuz my webserver inst setup right... i could see it fine though...
Im using apacheserver... and i think that i have to setup some permission.

I also installed IIS but i still need help...

if you did a standard install then all you have to do is use your actauly IP instead of localhost or 127.0.0.1

if this isnt the case your ISP might have put up a block on port 80 to stop its clients like you from running webservers from there computers.

to retify this you'll have to edit the apache httpd.conf and change the port you have your webserver using... change it port 81. and to call the page you'll have to do it like this http://x.x.x.x:81/yabbse/index.php or something like that.
