PHP Code in template

Is it possible to have code like this executed?

<?php
include(script.php);
include(voting_poll.php);
...
?>

I want a certain header, footer, menus,... around the YABB and therefore I want to include those scripts into the template.

But the file does not end with .php or similar, my server won't parse the PHP code.

How do I solve the problem?

hmm read the thing that says how to use your own functions, eg. <yabb script> = function(yyscript),
you have to open up functions.php(i think) add your functions as functions and then you put a tag <yabb %yourfunction%> in the template and it gets in

Tim, in version 1.1.0 it'll be alot easier to do this. but for now if your using 1.0.0 look at these threads for some idea's:
