Here is a really dumb question!

Hello all!!!

I have been reading up on how to do this transfer thing, but the language of the programming is killing me! LOL    I am so new at this that I have no clue what half of this stuff is!

Is there a place where I can get a manual on this kind of thing... or maybe some help on doing this...I have ftp, but it is no longer letting me into the site to upload anything.... the server (or what ever) is activelly dening me access!!!!

I am so confused and lost it is not funny.... If anyone could give me any amount of help i would so  appreciate  it!!!!!!!!!

Hi LC,
  I see no one has responded in here. What exactly is the problem you are having? I don't know of any 'manual', just what I have learned trying to convert from YaBB 1 Gold to YaBB SE... If I can help you, I will be glad to... just let me know the details on what you are trying to do, etc...

Honestly I am having problems totally.... i have yabb gold sp 1 (someone else uploaded it)  i have yabb se on my comp trying to do the upgrade for them... i can't seem to get anything correct.... i have no clue how to use ftp or any of that wonderful stuff...  

So any help at all would be wonderful!  Even if it comes down to telling me I am totally clueless!  LOL!!!!  

P.S. I had no clue that i posted it twice.... my comp has been having mental distrubances lately! LOL

Ok...

You said you have Yabb Gold sp1... and its up and running? you just want to change to yabb se, correct?

As for FTP... you can get ws_ftp off of www.downloads.com and install it... I will help you through that, but I need to know the answers to the above to know where/how we are to proceed...
