I cant create MODS- wouldnt even know where to begin, but how about making these MODs

Allow User to select sound for PM message
Close thread after X amount messages
Spell check
Certain amount of post before you can get avatar
Image protection hack- since you cant put no right click HTML in template
And of course the ability for users to choose different template styles as someone else suggested
