Attachment File Size Problem

PHP Version: 4.2.0 to 4.2.2
MySQL Version: 3.23.x
Server Platform: Unix, Linux, or BSD

Problem Description:
Why I cannot attach file which file size is larger than 500kb, while I 've already set  the value in Max Attachment Size at 2Mb ?

I also set value of upload_max_filesize in php.ini more than 500kb already.

do u have any advise for me?

There are other things in php.ini that matter, like how long it will wait for the attachment, etc.  You also have to have the space in the attachment directory.

Next, YaBB SE has a setting that limits attachment size, you have to change that too.
