if you create a new user group is it poible to change or get a picture for it (like the stars)

First, what quite do you mean by icon?

If you mean like to change the stars, yes, you can.

If you mean to get something like a default avatar, yes, this can be done too. 8-)

I wrote something in JavaScript that would do this for YaBBSe but lost it due to a hard drive crash.

But yes, it is possible, it may even be possible without a mod, but I don't know for sure.
