Problems with yabb and banners

PHP Version: 4.3.2
MySQL Version: 3.23.x
Server Platform: Unix, Linux, or BSD

Problem Description:
I need to have an ad banner in my forum the code is this

Code Select Expand

<? virtual("/banner/telefragged/forum.cgi") ?>

Now thats not really a problem except when you add that code to yabb the template craps out and gives the msg illegal copy of yabb no copyright tag, the tag IS still there can someone please tell me why the hell its doing thisand how to fix it?
