avatars too big error?

Problem Description:
Hey y'all

Just upgraded from YaBB gold to the latest YaBB SE and I'm glad I did!

Having a problem with avatars though. People have, in many cases, selected their own image stored on their own space.

Oddly, if it is bigger than the limit then instead of resizing the image (as YaBB Gold did), it gives an error "Avatar image is too big, please resize it and try again (max 65 x 65)".

If they just use their converted profile without making changes, the resized image shows up fine. It just means they can't edit their profile without coming across this error.

If I disable the limit, those with huge images eat up all the board space, so that's not an option.

Any ideas?

There should be an avatar mod/hack in Completed Mods somewhere, otherwise, tell your users to size their avatars down.

Just find the code in profile.php that validates the avatars size and comment it out..  that will work, more or less.
