Well I look and look but IMHO the complete path to the dir is given ? But still i get this open_basedir restriction ?

It happens with the files from the variables dir of the existing YaBBGold.

Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory. in /usr/local/slash/apache/vhosts/designhulp.nl/httpdocs/Testdes/forum/converter.php on line 244

Warning: file("/usr/local/slash/apache/vhosts/designhulp.nl/cgi-bin/boardNL/Variables/agreement.txt") - Operation not permitted in /usr/local/slash/apache/vhosts/designhulp.nl/httpdocs/Testdes/forum/converter.php on line 244

Any idea's how this is solved ?

wel the open_basedir was set to /usr/blabla/designhulp.nl/httpdocs
but the cgi dir is :
/usr/blabla/designhulp.nl/cgi-bin

No absolute path would do no ./cgi etc :(, no url path path would do the trick so i copyed all the board (yabb Gold) to the httpdocs dir and then dit th convert. Then it went very smootly Thanx a LOT for that (all develloppers and betatesters)
