Hello Guys,

I also had this idea for a detailed user configuration
Meaning

User: abc
Forum: Testing Forum

Can Stick/Unstick Topics       thickbox
Can Lock/Unlock Topics
Can Edit Own Messages
Can Delete Messages
Can Edit Own Polls
Can Ban Users

Like making my own moderators where I decide what they can and what they can't and configure this per forum.

Note: Being able to configure this for groups would be cool too :)

As to both your last suggestions. I REALLY encourage you to wait and see the new SMF version of the forum. Check out:
www.simplemachines.org

The new version has LOADS on permissions - you'll have to wait until it comes out but I don't think you will be dissapointed

olger901... where did you get the secret plans for permissions?!  That's pretty close to EXACTLY how it's done... ;).
