receive content of postings via e-mail?

Hello world!

Our cheap company has a mailing list that's quite informative, but very chatty --thus it's a pain to archive the good answers.

So, I made a YABBSE forum and demo'ed to my manager. And he loved it! However, the bigger bosses want an option that for every posting on the list, along with it's subject on the Subject: line, be sent via e-mail... every time!  

Why? So they can read the postings themselves while they're bouncing from city-to-city, as they currently do now with mailing lists. It's unwieldy, but it works.

Question is, what do I need to do? I want to focus on it, but I keep getting told to do other mundane things.

This actually wouldn't be that hard to do.  Basically open Post.php and alter the post2 function to send an e-mail with the message each time someone posts.  This will catch both new threads and replies.  You would probabally want to add in checking so it only e-mails those who want it.  Also remind your bosses that they would not be able to reply by e-mail.
