Boardmod whitespace errors?

Alrighty, just a quick question to someone who's done a lot more of this than me...

I have my mod file all ready to go, nice and tidy and working. However, when I try to install it on a fresh set of files, I get several search string not found errors... now, the text that I told it to search for was copy and pasted directly from those same fresh install files...soooo, what's going on? Is my editor adding/subtracting whitespace or is boardmod doing that...? Or is it something entirely different? If anyone could give me a clue, that'd be great.

i have had this error, i usually have to include more for it to find.
