Im not sure if it already does this, but if i make an announcement board under a membergroup cat, so only members under that cat can see the board, when i make that board an announcement board it would be nice to have a message sent out to ONLY the people that have access to that board.

If it sends an announcement to everyone then that seems like a bug to me.

I wouldn't call it a bug so much as an oversight...

Anyway...  you should try your email members option at the bottom of the admin screen.  I think that will let you send emails to specific groups.
