Mod Suggestion: Built in Journal?

I'm not sure if anyone has done this, but I thought it would be really cool if Yabb had a built in journal system, so that all users could keep a journal through Yabb, much like what you'd find at www.livejournal.com

I would do it but I do not have that much programming knowledge.  Anyone willing to try to make this a reality?
