Login From Index Page ?!?

Hey all, hope I'm posting this message in the right place.

I was wondering if anyone could help me, I'm looking to having a place on my index page where people can log into my YaBBse community but I can't seem to figure out how to do it.

Not really understanding what you mean by that.

If youre loggin on from your site with your username and pasword it will not change to:

"You're Logged on as USERNAME"

You mean if you're using the login box and after login you want something like the welcome function displayed? (Hey, Username, you have x messages, x are new) If you want it that way, check here:http://www.yabbse.org/community/index.php?board=140;action=display;threadid=24335 Though, you could easy echo 'You are logged in as Username' in place of the welcome function. Just put whatever after that else statement.

i mean the loggin box got some extra function on my site... i use it from the ssi.php but it will not change if i am logged on. It must change to "Your logged on as USERNAME" or something like that on there box
