If I want to upload several pictures in a post and display them, is it possible in version 1.5.3? And I want  them display in proper positions.

While the simple answer is "no", there is no reason that you couldn't have the option to attach a larger number to one post and avoid the mess of creating multiple posts to get the pictures uploaded.

This mod would not be fun to make in 1.5.x.

Luckily, since 1.6.0 uses a seperate table for attachments... this would be easy in it.  You'd just change ID_ATTACH to attachments and make it a comma seperated list.  Done.

You'd have to mess with the places where it deleted the attachments/threads, but it'd be a lot easier.

I agree, given the structural dependencies in 1.5.x it would be easier to create a separate table, but it wouldn't affect that much code.

This is the same type of thing i am looking for.
My members want to post a message with various examples (photos) included.

Could they upload to my server, then use the URL of the photo inside an (img)(/img) tag.

Something like this:

This is example 1.


then after more text they add another pic then to finish, they add their final pic
........

........

The only problem is I dont know how they would be able to upload a pic into a specific directory and see the full URL.

Does such a mod exist????
