What is this setting for/what does it do?

Is there a place where I can look up the other settings/preferences as well?

What entries from what logs?

Most logs have a halflife of only so many hours anyway.....

I don't know...that's why I'm asking.  :D

I'll try to be a little more specific:

Under Admin; Forum Configuration; Forum Preferences and Settings

One of the options is: "Remove entries from user logs after __ days" and gives you a box to fill in...I think the default is 30.

I am curious as to what this is referring to and if there is any other documentation that goes into detail what all the different settings under "ADMIN" do/control/etc.
