Extremely Slow Response

We've recently upgraded our forums to YaBB SE 1.52 from YaBB Gold SP 1.1 and noticed that the forums responce time is extremely slow, needing anywhere from 15 to 60 second after a mouse click for the page/action to be displayed. Now, I'm not the administrator of these forums, however, I am a Global Moderator and am taking the initiative to look into the problem myself. If anyone has any information that might help, it would be greatly appreciated. The forums can be found here: UFX Forums

PS - I myself have a broadband internet connection, as do many of the forum's members and we've all noticed the large slowdown, so its not internet connections.

I think it is a server issue, your images load very slowly for me.

Also, do you have a phpinfo.php available for us to review?

I didn't understand that.


And I'm wondering whether its a MySQL parsing and retrieval problem. It seemed to get a bit bitter once he removed the "Who's Online?" feature.

Well, unfortunately, as I said, I'm not the webmaster/admin of these forums, so for me to retrieve any vital information is impossible. If you create a temporary account, you may be able to get a hold of Bob - he's the guy to whom the forum and webspace belongs. Basically, I'm just asking what may be causing the problems. Its very frustrating.
