I don't know if you can do it with YaBB but add new stuff to fill in on the profile page.

Anything! ;D I ment the admin can add more stuff to the profile page for users to fill in and add stuff to the sign-up page.

Um, there already is stuff you can fill in, in the profiles.

And it has been asked before to add the profile stuff to register... not sure if there is a mod for that though.

It isn't exactly easy to be able to add more of them on the fly. ::)

Ask for which things you want added in profiles, then maybe someone will make them as a mod.

a current alternative is using the bio mod, you can tell your users to fill in everything else about themselves in the bio field that aren't included in the rest of the profile fields

There is a mod like this called Extended Profiles for YaBB Gold... I have mentioned it here before, but nobody seems to be interested in converting it... It seems to me that this wouldn't be too difficult to do... The biggest issue would be the MySQL stuff...
