It would be great if there was an option to automatically set user's preference to accept email notifications of instant messages on registration.

I'm presuming this would be pretty straight forward......can anyone help?

I worked out that, to do what I wanted, I just had to edit the default entry in the 'im_email_notify' column on the member row of the database. I just changed the default from 0 to 1.......new members now automatically receive email notification from IMs :)
