I got this problem where it sais:
"Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_connect() in /var/www/html/hypertech/forums/index.php on line 50"
on the page when I start my forum through my browser.

I reinstalled linux on my server and reinstalled the MySQL database, but I got the all the forum files saved.

After the installation this happened, before It worked really well.

My Q: how do u get rid of that error? Is it because of a wrong pass and user I wrote or its a forum error? ???

This means that PHP is not compiled with MySQL support.

Your web host has to fix it.  Tell them they need to fix their PHP and MySQL, as neither are seeing each other.

So I fixed the MySQL/PHP problem, but I have another one.

I connect to my site and I see this message after 30 secs( ::) )
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /var/www/html/hypertech/forums/Sources/Subs.php on line 702

What does this mean, some kind of server problem again? ???
And how do you fix it? ???

Any help apreciated.

It shouldn't take that long to load.

You can increase the value of max_execution_time in php.ini...

I dont think its a problem with the time it takes my forum to load, as I said before, before my reinstallation of Mandrake 9.0 (the linux i use for my server) my forum worked perfectly.

So It might be somethink that cant load properly.

Should I just reinstall my forum? :-\
