ALTernate Text in [img] tags

I want to write a mod to add ALT tag funcitonality to []

I'm inclined to go with the first since it matches HTML, and also because the people likely to use this functionality are must likely to be standards advocates. The second way seems more UBBC-like though...

hmm strange bug there... (FYI i used two square brackets so the tag didn't get parsed, the HTTP got magicked in...)

the second option is supposed to say:

[img]imgurl[alt]my alt text[/alt][/img]

[Gobalopper]

I would use the first approach, look at the img tag for examples as it does the same thing for setting width and height.
