The Clock Says its 8:52 am when its not

I set the time zone in my profile to -6 and underneath that it says that its 2:52 pm but the clcok in the corner always says the worng time.

then just adjust the time in your profile
-6 doesnt mean your time will be GMT-6, but it will be -6 hours from the server time
what time was it supposed to be?
what yse version are u running?
