i really have no idea what u did, oldiesmann
i tried it and it worked fine too -> test topic: http://www.monkey-pirate.com/php/test/index.php?board=1;action=display;threadid=2

i only did the code change above and remove xhtml doctype

What's this about xhtml doctype? I don't know what you're talking about there... (Almost got the move tag doing what I want it to do now... It at least picks up the bgcolor part...)

xhtml doctype is the first line in your default template.php:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

Well, that would explain why it wasn't working on my test board... I was using the default YaBB template... *goes to try it out again*

Ok. I got it to accept the proper parameters:

I modified your code to the following:

Code Select
'/\[fliph=(.+?),(.+?)/](.+?)\[\/fliph\] /is',
'/\[flipv=(.+?),(.+?)/](.+?)\[\/fliph\]/is',

and

Code Select
'<span style="filter:fliph; width=' . ('\\1' < 300 ? '\\1' : '300') . '; font-size=' . ('\\2' < 20 ? '\\2' : '20') . ';">//3</span>'
'<span style="filter:flipv; width=' . ('\\1' < 300 ? '\\1' : '300') . '; font-size=' . ('\\2' < 20 ? '\\2' : '20') . ';">//3</span>'

The changes to the above code are to prevent people from posting rediculously large flipped text on your board (basically keeps the width from being larger than 300 pixels and the font size less than 20). I tested it and it works fine now... Thanks for the tips!
