if you use an # in a username then it doesn't work! with no bbs i know!

# is a special char (used as anchor) and special chars has nothing to do inside an username! you can use # in displayname! but then you can´t IM this user to the displayname...

So is there no way to fix this?

Members keep trying to PM these members with the # sign in their name, and get errors...

there is a way... fixing instantmessage.php

Okay i´ll take a look!

All we have to do is replace # with %23

If you use index.php?board=;action=imsend;to=Sundin+%231

instead of index.php?board=;action=imsend;to=Sundin #1 it works (at least i believe that)
