Server Traffic caused by Forum question

I used Yabb Gold SP 1.1 till two days ago. Now my hosting company said that the page causes too much traffic, they found out that with 1500-2000 visitors a day the Perl forum CGI files caused 15 GB Traffic!

Now I converted to Yabb SE two days ago.

I wanted to ask: in terms of traffic and server usage, how much better is Yabb SE than Yabb Gold SP: 1.1 ? thanks.

to know more can help me to save money.

It is much better, especially if you enable output compression.  In terms of statistics, don't know off the top of my head.

Much better!!!  This graph should put things in perspective for you.  The red bars on the bottom represent bandwidth.  I switched from Gol Sp1.2 to SE on the Feb 18th:

I'm using the external CSS on mine.  I didn't see any reason to use a mod, tho.  I just put all the css stuff in a file called bbs.css and linked it in the template.

Doesn't diabling the clik log make the number of hits and suff on the stats page not work?

the external css mod only adds an editor for the css file, like the one for template.php

click log isnt the stats thingy
it's the "View forum access log" link (index?action=showclicks)
