Mod Idea : Submit 'news ticker' addition

i did this once with users on my board via email... it can be quite funny

here's the run down of my idea.....

from a users perspective.

- they can follow a link to submit a line to the news ticker

from an admin perspective.

- they get an extra link on the board index in a similar fashion to the 'applications mod' when there are
- follow this link show all submissions and check boxes etc to add each one. or remove them from the submissions table.


options
- maybe submissions could be time stamped so they can only last for 1 day/ 1 week or whatever
- option to 'free for all' without admin having to auth
- option to clear all in list
- option to limit list to n entries

i only really thought about it from the ticker angle because of how i've previously let people submit via email

(mostly xxx loves xxx and funny jokes etc etc)
