Can't the compression setting also effect the blank page?

well when i am doing the upgrade installation...i follow all the step... like this one


and when i reload my page to my .../forum/index.php...nothing

Did you?  All the files must be uploaded...

If you did, run this query in phpMyAdmin...

UPDATE yabbse_settings
SET value='0'
WHERE variable='enableCompressedOutput';

i have uploaded everything as you ask me...or as the installation told me to do...

now i am doing the updating regarding "yab_setting" in my Phpadmin
then when i refresh the forum...samething...

From loading your page you do not have the proper 1.5.1 files. Your cookie code in Load.php is definitely not using the latest version.

now i am doing a fresh install...i just did a new directory which i will upload all the new RC1 files.

Make a phpinfo page to find your php version.

My advice, delete the Sources directory and all the files in the main forum folder except for Settings.php and your template.  Then upload the new files from 1.5.1 to make sure they are uploaded.

try to disable compression output, like what david said
it's inside Installed Mods Settings
