Problemas con imagenes del index.php: On.gif y Off.gif

Hola, ya consegui solucionar los problemas que tenia en mi version 1.5.1 actualizando la version de PHP.

Ahora tengo otro problemilla, a veces salen las imagenes on.gif/off.gif (la azul si hay mensajes nuevos y la gris si no los hay) pero otras veces no aparecen (no sale ni el error de imagen, es como si no estuvieran en el index.php). Sabeis a que me refiero?

No las carga, sale la tipica X Roja como si no hubiera imagen??
