Limited admin group mod...?

I'm hoping someone can help me...

My board has an array of people who handle different administrative tasks (i.e. updating the news, watching and managing the error log and stats, etc), but who do not perform moderation duties.

I would like for them to be able to access the admin and stats areas, but restrict their ability to modify/delete threads and posts on a global level.

I've searched for a mod that might do this, but haven't found one.  If one exists, I'd be very grateful if someone can point me towards it.  If not, consider this a suggestion for a future mod.

if you are talking about Global mod's to be able to modify the error logg and or bann member's then there is a Global Moderator mod made where they can do that.. and admin can choose what global mod's are allowed to do

Will it allow the global moderator more than the four functions than with the global moderator center mod? I mean the admin can choose which powers from the admin center without the four restrictions, the global mods get. (ex. The global moderator can have as many powers from the admin center in their global mod center as the admin wants.)

Actually no... I'm looking for the opposite.  I want to have a user group that can access admin functions, but NOT have the ability to globally moderate.
