How to change some graphics?

Help me please change some graphics. Specifically:



I need those two changes indicated over the above image. Thanx in advance.

For the first one, go to Manage Boards and in the description of each forum add:

Why did you disable your carma?

Change

background-image : url(YaBBImages/catbg.jpg;

to

background-color: #cccccc;

Replace "cccccc" with whatever color you want (that's a medium grey).

No I dont want to loose this effect of the color. I want to change the image in the Photoshop. But how can I do it? Any expert?

Ah... I see now!

I supposed you could just edit catbg.jpg in whichever graphics editor you have.

Yeap! Edit the catbg.jpg in photoshop. It's a 3x49 image with a simple vertical gradient beginning with light blue and ending in white. If you're planning to make the text white, then one of the two gradient colors it's better to be a dark blue with little saturation. Pay attention not to compress the image a lot (in my opinion a GIF image would be more appropriate).  If you tell me how you want it, I can make it for you...

Which are those default colors indicated above by the yellow arrow? Where can I find them in my template? Suggest me of some colors to use instead of them (shades of blue).

Everything is configured from the classess in your template.

The first one is the titlebg class, while the second one you're indicating is the windowbg class. The white column next to the one you're indicating is set from the windowbg2 class. Don't forget to change the colors both in your template and in the "forum preferences and settings" (the last one is for browsers that don't support CSS). I rember that a few months ago there was a topic here or at YaBB Gold community where every class was explained...

As for the colors, try different shadings of blue with less saturation (suitable for black text) from the original blue you suggested in order to be easy for the eyes (for the same reason I recommend you to change the white background as well).
