Safe Mode Install Help!!

I guess this is more of a mysql problem (I think).

The installer works. But when I get to the Mysql data base part I get a error saying:

-Cannot use database yabbse, connection to server -
-succeeded by the way.                                              -

Why does this happen?

Can i make the data base by my self?

What would i need the name to be  and what how many Fields should there be? What would be the fields name? What type is the filed need to be?what sould the Length/Values be?Attributes?Null?Default?Extra? and would i check Primary, Index, and/or Unique?

Woah, don't get ahead of yourself.

You think it wants to make a table.  It, however, wants a database.

What's proabably happening is that your host doesn't want you to use "yabbse", but maybe "yoursite_yabbse" or "yoursite".

I would check with them.

I have the same problem... i think i have version 1.4.0, but yeah, it will not connect with MySQL unless your user name is correct, with whatever_whatever, or just whatever.... which ever one is correct it will not connect unless it is correct.  I am not sure what causes it but i do know that all my information is correct.  Any help?
