When YaBB SE 1.5.0 was released it had a feature where when clicking a YABBC button it surrounded the text with the tag and didn't replace it.

I'm still running a 1.3.1 board because it works very well on my setup and I have modified it heavily to fit my needs. So I was wondering would it be hard to implement this tag replacement feature to 1.3.1 from 1.5.0? And how could I do it?

You may want to post a request in Mod Ideas. This would require a good deal of code modification.
