Hi,

How many converters are there at the moment? Doesn't matter if they are beta or final  ;)

Yes, I have two crude ones. One for vB and the other for UBB. I was sure I had one for phpBB as well but can't find it anymore (or the UBB one I don't think).

Well there are only 3 that have been "released" to my knowlege. phpBB to YaBBSE, Invisionboard to YaBBSE, and YaBB to YaBBSE.

I used to be ambivalent. Now I'm just amused.

If I'm not mistaken the most current YaBB to YaBB SE converter only works on version 1.4.x (maybe earlier versions, but I didn't research it). The readme file for 1.5.0 and 1.5.1 both say, "An updated converter is in the works. sorry for the delay." I'm beginning to think I'll be drawing a retirement pension before one is available.

Umm..... that message has been in  the readme since 1.3.0(or even earlier) ::) ;)

Just ignore it, the conversion "should" work.

So what you're saying is that the converter will work on importing postings and members from the CGIPerl version of YaBB to YaBB SE, correct?
