Need help on SMTP Mod.....

Okok. I installed Chris's SMTP Mod like 10 times and I get a message in my index.php of my yabbse:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_RETURN in C:\Webhost\yabbse\Sources\Subs.php on line 324

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: clicklog() in C:\Webhost\yabbse\index.php on line 64

My Yabbse is the most recent one!
I reinstalled the program and deleted the MySQL data base and reinstalled the Mod but it does not work. Any help?

nevermind. I really didn't need to upgrade the SMTP mod! I connected to my ISP's SMTP address because I have a dynamic IP address. At last it works!

The fatal error was 'cuz Subs.php wasn't parsed...  The smtp problem is on the very line of the mailing junk.... I would say you could just edit the file, go to that line..... and then copy/paste the surrounding 8 lines or so here.

Also, I would recommend using the authentication, as many servers are blocked (and hence change to forced authentication) when they let spam through (which is what happens when they don't authenticate).

Actually, I must say that my personal opinion is that the SMTP mod should be built in to YaBBSE 1.5... but that's just my opinion.
