Is there anyway some one could make a mod that requires users to register / login before they can download files?
Say if i have media files in the "../attachments/media" file they would have to log in to be able to access these files.
Also would it be possible to make it so the page the get redirected to is not "
http://website.com/forum/index.php?action=login2"
but
"
http://website.com/media/index.php?action=login2"
so that it would have a different layout to the forum?
Or is there already a programe that can do this, which would use feilds in the YaBBSE database and use them for the user to login, but if they are already loged in to the forum, they DONT have to log in again.
Do you understand what im geting at? It would kind of be like a portal, but a lot simpler and not running of the same template.
If SMF is released soon would this be possible to be made for that too?
If you ask why i want this, its so i dont get people just using my site to download stuff, and using up all the bandwidth what my regular visitars may want to use.
