is there a mod to show what ipadress that a user last logged in on? even if they DIDNT post?

I had some hacker tryng to hack my board and when i tracert the ip i know what .com thing he is using.. but i cant ban his ip cause he is prbably on dynamic ip anyway.. but i use the access logs and I cant tell when they were logged in..

so im seeing all these new users pop up and some of them dont post so i dont know which one is him.. can anyone let me knwo if theres a mod like this or simialr to this..

also forum error logs

yeah that doesnt really answer my question...

heres how it goes down...

one day... hacker01 uses address 123.123.123.123

hacker has a dynamic address so the enxt day it could be 123.123.123.1

right?

ok...

so the only way to see if the hacker is on my board is to tracert cause i know the isp..

but 123.123.123.1 could be going to aol.com
and 123.123.123.2 could be going through earthlink..

basically i want to be able to see..

where hacker01's ip address is if he doesnt post..

i get thousands of hits per day.. so viewing the access log by going through a gazillion of ips is just not feasible..

im just looking for an ip log that associates it with the user even if he DOESNT post..

any thoughts? anyone
