I really liked the admin option to decide who could post in which area within the forum.  There were three circles you could choose from, to enable guests to reply/post, members to reply/post or admin only.

I know i have mentioned this before and people have said just lock threads but i want to designate three sections on my forum as read only with people being unable to start new threads etc.

Does this mod already exist?

I would like this aswel! Beeing able to have one area where guests can post, but nowhere else on the board.

But if the only thing you want is a place where you can post and no body else, just make them as announcment boards.

It's the "Allowed users" mod.
What can you do with it?

You can set for each board one of these options:

• "Everyone" can view/post
• Only "Members" can post, board visible for guests
• Only "Members" can view/post, board invisible for guests
• Only "Selected Members" can post, board visible for other members and guests
• Only "Selected Members" can view/post, board invisible for other memebers and guests
• Access board with password

I think this mod can do what you asks for.
