Need some mods..help?

Hi guys,

I dont know if this is the appropriate place for this msg or not, but I need a few mods and are finding it hard to sift through them all. (It would be good to setup a mod board like boardmod that Yabb Gold uses)

 I am setting up an Alumni based forum and would like users to set which graduating class they belong to in their profile, but then allow users to sort or search per graduating class and allow the admin to group users based on this field? I've looked at some alumni scripts and would prefer this to be done within Yabb based off the member database. Is there are mod that can do this, or can someone write one for me as my programming skills are non-existant!!!

Also, what is the recommended chat application for 1.4.1 that integrates with the user database within Yabb?
