Changing the number of stars for a certain category?

I have looked under the mods board and there is one there called advanced stars and colours or something, but the link is down and it seems it only works for v1.3

Is there any way I can do this manually?

The mod that your talking about here is for 1.4 (I belive). If you go to the last page on the thred, the pac version is there and that link workes fine.

Look in Load.php for this comment line:

   /* create the memberinfo and memberstars entries */

The stars are calculated there and put in the variable $memberstar[$user]. You can make your changes there.
