I'm working on a Mod that'll add the ability for users to upload thier own avatars for yabbse 1.4.1

I've been successful in the following so far:

1. created the script that adds the tables,

2. display the settings in modsettings

3. display the interface in profile edit

I've ran into a brain block. Can anyone help? I need a demonstration for:

1. getting modsettings to display the default settings found in the table

2. getting modsettings to write the changes to the table

I just don't understand how it's being done with the example setups and code allready in modsettings.... This thing about HTTP_POST_VARS has me stumped..

I have a mod for what I've done so far and I would be willing to share what I had (and credit) if anyone wants to assist..
